Admirals Club- DFW Terminal A
Located across from gate A24, the outer entrance to the Club is unassuming. Yet, the further flyers progress into the Club's interior, it's size and grandeur become progressively evident. Upon checking in with the reception agents in the open-air, two story lobby, guests can ascend the elevators or stairs to the main level. A well-appointed entry, with an impressive world atlas mural, ushers members into the Club.
Furnishings and decor are consistently modern and clean throughout the facility. This contemporary feel contributes to a sense of order and serenity, in contrast to the chaotic public DFW concourses. A variety of lounge chairs with ample power outlets, coffee tables, and free space for luggage are available throughout. The lighting is effective, yet not overpowering. Travelers will likely have no issue finding space for conversation or solitude. A dedicated "no cell phone" room is located on one far end of the club. As an additional benefit for business travelers, the Terminal A Admirals Club contains an impressive amount of private office space, stocked with multipurpose equipment such as copiers, faxers, and printers.
One of the Club's strongest aspects lies in its dining. Continental items and drink stands are scattered throughout virtually every room, allowing visitors easy access to refreshments. Almost 1/3 of the club contains a dedicated dining room, with full service meals available in a buffet style. A personalized stand with a chef is also available (for breakfast on this visit the feature dish was made-to-order avocado toast). The variety of food and beverage options is impressive, and staff are quick to replace scarce items. Multiple commercial grade coffee / espresso machines complete the buffet. Like all airline lounges, the Club contains a well-stocked bar. Seating is plentiful, with a host of options from high tables to expansive tables with dividers and power outlets.
