Delta Sky Lounge- ATL Concourse F

Navigating the world's busiest airport by passenger volume can be a daunting task. Finding a tranquil place to remain productive is simple- find the nearest Delta Sky Lounge. I chose the newer Lounge in Concourse F, where the majority of Hartsfield-Jackson's international flights depart and arrive. For a simple one time use fee, any traveler with a Delta boarding pass for the day can access the Lounge. SkyMiles members not on elite status or ticketed in an elite class can also pay with miles for access, which I chose to do on this occasion. For the cost, it is relatively economically considering the fresh, unlimited food, WiFi access, and showers. Considering I spent a few hours and ate two meals at the Lounge, the access cost was easily justifiable.

Complimentary newspapers from around the world

Visitors to the Lounge will find a fresh assortment of food in a buffet style. Breakfast items, both hot and cold were available on my entrance. Staff kept the food constantly stocked and the facilities clean. A full service bar was open and fully staffed. Delta also provides complimentary magazines and newspapers in a variety of languages for international travelers.

The outdoor terrace provides an escape from the normal confines of airport terminals

The lounge is expansive, with an upper floor offering extra lounge chairs and privacy. Single booths can provide a comfortable place to place calls without distracting others. A unique aspect of this lounge is the outdoor deck. With covering to block the Georgia sun, it offers an expansive view of the airfield. Enjoy your food and drink outside at the bar tables while watching the constant flow of air traffic at ATL.
